of time. I would just sandblast them, since it seems your a just trying to repaint them. It will take down the surface skin a bit but not a bunch. Then just flip for a powdercoater. If you pre-sandblast the parts it is a lot cheaper to get powdercoating done. Usually rims run in the $80 rim...but if you can get them sandblasted you should be able to get them done for around $40-$50 a rim if not cheaper. Call around for powdercoating quotes in the area and remember to tell them they are already powdercoated. You should be around that neighborhood of prices. But don't go rattle can....the pain will fade very fast, flake and look more like crap than they look like already.
